Happy New Year!

California beaches are so amazing!  There are many ways families can entertain themselves here in the Bay Area.  We have everything - from amusement parks to arcades to malls to movie theaters.  The beach is usually our first choice!  Doesn't matter what time of year.  There is something about being at the edge of the land, looking out across the expanse of the ocean, and having just an inkling of the enormity and majesty of the awesome God we serve!  It refreshes our souls.

Kawika

Kainoa

Our precious second oldest daughter.  She is one to be reckoned with!  A red belt in Tae Kwon Do (next level is black belt), she is our current 'cook, chef, & baker extraordinaire!'  She is also a wonderful artist who is usually found drawing if she is not in the kitchen.  She could run the household, and probably the nation!  She has such a true sense of what she knows is right or wrong (biblically.)  She is currently struggling with life amidst a lot of younger siblings (ie: chaos, yelling, whining, crying, etc.)  God is teaching her about patience...and she is learning to go to Him for peace...

They thought the dripping water cave was cool, then yelled, "it stinks!"
