April Moments

Kainoa, Koa, Kapena

Kawika (6)

The kids are part of a science class co-op that occurs while I am in bible study.  Kaleo teaches the younger students.  This year they were studying anatomy.  Today's lesson was on eyeballs.  They had a fabulous hands-on project for this.  Kainoa baked the donut holes that  were used for the eyes.

Yummy eyeballs!

Such a blessing that our friend, Veronica, visiting from Alabama with her sweet family,  stopped by so we could meet their beautiful new addition!

Uh......boys?

I have no idea why we were making applesauce in April - its usually a fall project - but its always fun to get the whole crew involved - and it makes it go much faster!

Keoni (3) is a great apple scrubber!

Nani treated us to a favorite - YogurtLand!

These are typical things that we find Kapena doing
in the backyard.....

Kaleo teaching her first class as a black belt!

Keith treated us to lunch after church.  Bonus - children eat free!

Kainoa's cool sketch on the table at the restaurant.

Everyone had to touch the eyeballs for some reason....

 Family worship time

Kids discovered a dead baby bird who had fallen out of a nest.  Kids were so sad.

"Service" for baby bird.

 ....and burial.

 Family movie night.

One of our homemade wool dryer balls got out of control
and attacked our laundry.

 A favorite breakfast!

Kaleo extended the life of this cute pink dress for her sister by adding in the denim panel.

The girls decided to make homemade pasta, but then couldn't find our pasta making gadget, so....they hand cut each noodle!
Time consuming - but fun and delicious!

I had a dentist appointment, and so switched cars with my cousin.  She had our kids, her kids, and another friend in our van.
Full house!

be on your people!
